A Little Ditty Called Happiness...

Hey, I'm Will. I'm 21 and from North Carolina. I was diagnosed with Bipolar II, panic attacks, and anxiety issues in Feburary of this year. Since then I've been on a cocktail of meds that have done everything from somewhat helping to making me blackout and wreck my car. I'm currently trying to find the right combination of therapy and medication to help get me back on track to living a normal life, if there is such a thing. I fight suicidal urges and urges to cut nearly every day but try to make the best out of this thing we call life.

One of my biggest passions in life is music. I listen to a very wide variety of music. Anything from bluegrass to indie rock to post rock to folk to grunge and about anything in between (other than new country and radio rock and rap). I play guitar and that takes up most of my money. I'm on the never ending quest to find the perfect tone and am discovering it is a lot harder than one would think. I am a huge Fender electric and old Gibson acoustic freak and am pretty brand loyal when it comes to my guitars. They are like family to me. It may seem silly but they hold a huge place in my heart. They have been there with me through thick and thin and offer some of the best therapy money can buy.

I drive a MINI Cooper and have a minor obsession with cars. I grew up around cars my whole life and my first job was in a body shop the summer going into my sophomore year of high school.

Art also is near and dear to me. I love self expression and have respect for anything and anyone who is willing to show what they feel and stand up for what they believe in.
